  • What services do you offer at BaysideWalkers?
    Doggy daycare, Homebased Boarding, Premium Dog Walking, and Pet Care Drop-ins for your furry friends. We specialize in providing loving and personalized pet care services!
    • What areas do you serve?  We proudly serve Valrico, Dover, Riverview, Plant City, Brandon, FishHawk, Lithia, FL. All boardings are held in our Valrico, FL location, we welcome residents in the Hillsbrourough County area to choose BaysideWalkers for their pet boarding needs! 
    • How long are your Drop-In visits & Dog Walks? Our Drop-In visits & Dog Walks start at 30minutes, we offer extended Drop-In Visit & Dog Walking times for a discounted hourly rate. 
    • Who will be providing care for my pets? 
      All pet care services are personally provided by our sole owner and operator, Autum R. Unlike larger, team-based companies, you can rest assured that Autum will be the consistent and dedicated caregiver for your pet, ensuring they receive personalized attention and the highest standard of care every time.
  • How do I receive updates on my pets care? We provide daily updates through our client portal. You'll receive detailed report cards featuring photos and descriptions of your pet's activities, ensuring you stay informed and connected with your pet’s care.
  • How do we handle payment?  Payments are managed through your client portal. You'll receive an invoice for services provided. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your dates, and the remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the scheduled services. We accept credit, debit, and cash.
  • What is in-home boarding, and how does it differ from traditional boarding facilities?
    In-home boarding means your pet stays in a caregiver's home rather than a traditional boarding facility. This allows for a more personalized and home-like environment, around the clock care with individual attention and care tailored to your pet's needs. We offer pickup & drop-off services for your pet where needed.
  • Where will my pet sleep during boarding stay?
    We recommend you bring your pets bedding & a blanket that smells like home! Your pet is welcomed to sleep comfortably with caregiver, on the couch, or in a kennel if they prefer. We will make sure your pet is happy and comfortable! 
  • How do I know if in-home boarding is right for my pet?
    In-home boarding is ideal for pets who thrive in a home environment, enjoy socializing with other animals, and benefit from personalized attention and care. It's a great option for pets who may feel anxious or stressed in traditional boarding facilities. We never leave your pet by themselves for the night unlike most boarding facilities. 
  • What amenities and accommodations do you provide for pets during their stay?
    Our in-home boarding services include comfortable stays, structured days to ensure pet happiness & mental stimulation, designated play areas, and access to a fenced-in backyard for exercise and enrichment. We strive to create a safe, cozy, and stimulating environment for your pet's enjoyment.
  • How do you ensure the safety and well-being of pets in your care?
    We prioritize the safety and well-being of all pets in our care. Our caregivers are experienced professionals who undergo training in pet handling, behavior management, and emergency protocols. We also maintain a secure and supervised environment to prevent accidents and ensure a positive experience for all pets.
  • Can I schedule a visit to see the boarding facilities and meet the caregiver beforehand?
    Absolutely! We welcome visits from pet parents to tour our in-home boarding location, meet the caregiver, and ask any questions you may have. We believe in transparency and want you to feel confident and comfortable entrusting your pet to our care.
  • Do you offer any additional services or amenities for pets during their stay?
    In addition to boarding and doggy daycare, we may offer additional services such as bathing, beginner-level training, or specialized care for pets with medical needs. Please inquire about specific services and availability when booking your pet's stay.
  • How do I make a reservation for my pet's stay?
    To make a reservation, please fill out a contact form on our site and we will contact you. Otherwise follow the steps on our home page to simply sign up for a client profile on our website. From there, you'll have access to our booking software and pricing information, allowing you to select the dates and services that best suit your pet's needs. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons, to secure your pet's spot.
  • Do you offer any discounts or promotions? We regularly run promotional discounts to enhance your experience. We may offer discounts or promotions for new clients, multiple pets, extended stays, or referrals. Be sure to ask about any current offers when booking your pet's stay.
  • How do I prepare my pet for their stay at BaysideWalkers?
    We recommend preparing your pet by providing their food, medications, comfort items, and any special instructions or preferences for their care. Additionally, make sure your pet's vaccinations and flea/tick prevention are up-to-date, and provide emergency contact information in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
